Spokane Man Sentenced for Drug and Firearm Offenses

A Spokane resident has been sentenced to over 16 years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release, for drug trafficking and firearm-related crimes, as announced by the U.S. Attorney's Office in Montana. Thomas Anthony Biesiadecki, 30, pleaded guilty to charges of possession with intent to distribute controlled substances and possession of a firearm in connection with drug trafficking. The sentencing was presided over by U.S. District Judge Dana L. Christensen.

Evidence presented in court indicated that Biesiadecki was a significant supplier of fentanyl, with multiple sources confirming purchases of thousands of fentanyl pills from him. Reports indicated that he frequently traveled from Spokane to Missoula to deliver drugs from early 2024 until mid-summer 2024. Additionally, he was involved in trading drugs for firearms during his trips to Missoula and Butte. A search of his vehicle in May 2025 uncovered firearms, fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, and cash, leading to his admission of distributing drugs and engaging in firearm trades.
